Free Software

Who doesn’t like free software?

While some websites do provide you with free software, others are usually bundled with unwanted programs. Many of these programs aka PUP’s or (potentially unwanted programs) contain some sort of Malware and or advertisement bundled with them. How else would they make their software free? Yes its a dirty gimmic,  and unfortunately I have seen even some reputable sources start bundling free software with junk. A few places I still  recommend for “FREE” software include sourceforge.com and filehippo.com and majorgeek.com. My best advice is after downloading any piece of  Free software is to “always read the fine print” as you click through the install process. I have seen many times where a unwanted program could of been avoided with by un-clicking a simple check box during the install process.  If you are looking for a specific type of software don’t hesitate to contact me and I’ll see if I can be of any assistance.
